His memoir “People Funny Boy” (Omnibus Press, 2006) highlighting the genius of Lee “Scratch” Perry is one example of his work. Music analyst and educator Clyde McKenzie has added author to his list of accomplishments as he penned Copeland Forbes memoir “Reggae My Life Is” (Downsound Books, 2022)
They will give an account of how their very different journeys resulted in two publications featuring important figures in Jamaican music history.
