Beverley East

Beverley East proudly wears two hats.  She is a leading authority in the field of handwriting identification and a three-time bestselling author. A court-qualified forensic examiner, she received the Trailblazer Award in 2002 as the only woman of colour qualified and practicing in both areas of handwriting analysis worldwide. A Calabash veteran, her second book, Reaper of Souls – a novel on the 1957 Kendal Crash – was nurtured through the early Calabash Literary workshop series and mentored by Colin Channer and the late Elizabeth Nunez. Her most recent book, Whose Signature is it Anyway? – Complexities of Caribbean Fraud is a ‘show and tell’, documenting cases within the Caribbean region will be a game changer for the industry.
