Marlon James
Marlon James was born in St. Andrew, Jamaica in 1970. In 2015 he won the Booker Prize for his third novel, A Brief History of Seven Killings. His most recent, Moon Witch, Spider King, is the second in his Dark Star fantasy trilogy. The first, Black Leopard, Red Wolf was a finalist for the National Book Award. He is also the author of John Crow’s Devil and The Book of Night Women, which won the Dayton Literary Peace Prize. Get Millie Black, a TV series he created airs on HBO/Max. His next novel, The Disappearers, will be published in 2025.
